Information Stored on Your Device
Unskip stores the following information locally on the device:
- The name of the goal the user chooses to track.
- Calendar days marked as completed.
- The yearly goal target and completion state.
- Personalized wording generated for the goal.
- Reminder preferences and onboarding state.
Unskip does not require an account. This goal-tracking information is not sent to ET Software Studio Inc. Users can remove locally stored information using available reset controls or by deleting the app.
Apple Intelligence
When Apple Intelligence is available and enabled, Unskip may use Apple’s on-device language model to create short wording that matches the user’s goal. The goal name is processed on the device and is not sent to ET Software Studio Inc. If the model is unavailable, Unskip uses standard wording.
Notifications
If enabled by the user, Unskip schedules local reminder notifications. Reminder preferences and notification scheduling remain on the device. Notifications are optional and can be disabled through Unskip or iOS Settings.
Advertising and Consent
Unskip uses Google Mobile Ads to display advertisements and Google’s User Messaging Platform to manage privacy choices where required. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect information automatically when Unskip requests or displays advertisements.
Depending on the device, region, consent choices, and advertising configuration, these services may process information such as:
- IP address and approximate location.
- Device identifiers.
- Advertising information and interactions.
- Crash, performance, and diagnostic information.
Google may use this information for advertising, analytics, fraud prevention, service operation, and regulatory compliance. Google’s handling of information is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
Where required, Unskip presents privacy choices before requesting advertisements. When privacy options are required, users can reopen them from within the app and change or withdraw their choices at any time.
Unskip does not request Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission and does not intentionally access the device’s advertising identifier, known as the IDFA.
Retention
Goal-tracking information remains on the device until the user resets it or deletes the app. Google controls the retention of information processed through its advertising services according to its own policies.
Children
Unskip is a general-purpose goal tracker and is not directed to children under 13. The app does not knowingly request personal information from children.
Changes
This policy may be updated when Unskip’s features, advertising configuration, or legal obligations change. The effective date shown at the top identifies the latest version.
